Finding Market Share Information in Databases
Enter "market share" AND along with the name of a company or product category/name, putting quotation marks around a name consisting of two or more words -- for example, "market share" AND "general motors", or "market share" AND (suv* OR "sport utility vehicle*"), or "market share" AND "yukon denali".
Click on the market share reports link on the database's home page or select Market Share Reports from the drop-down menu available from the Industries link. Then use the search box provided on the Market Share Reports page to search for a company's or product's name, without putting quotation marks around a name consisting of two or more words (for example, home depot, or laminate flooring). Then click on the links on the search results page to find various market share and/or ranking information.
